Rule 10A
Scholarships will be reserved

(1) Forty-five percent of the scholarships received by the Government of Nepal will be reserved for the following poor communities and people who have passed the entrance examination from community schools and that percentage will be maintained at 100% and will be distributed based on the following percentage:-

< p style="padding-left: 30px;">(a) twenty-five percent for economically or socially disadvantaged,

(b) thirty-three percent for women,< /p>

(c) Two percent for disabled,

(d) Twenty seven percent for tribals

p>

(e) Nine percent for Dalits,

(f) Four percent for people from backward remote areas. .

Explanation: For the purposes of this section, “persons from backward remote areas” means persons permanently residing in the districts of Achham, Kalikot, Jajarkot, Jumla, Dolpa, Bajhang, Bajura, Mugu and Humla.

(2) According to clause (a) of sub-rule (1), twenty-five percent of the seats reserved for the economically or socially disadvantaged will be distributed to the following communities and individuals on the basis of the following percentage:-

(a) Twenty percent for Madhesi,

(b) Two percent for Muslim community,

(c) three percent for the families of missing persons and martyrs and the injured or their descendants. Explanation: For the purposes of this section,

(1) "disappeared persons and martyrs" means people's war, people's movement for democracy in 2062-063, Madhesh movement, etc. It refers to a person who was disappeared or was martyred during the entire movement or revolution conducted for democracy in the country. At least 50 percent disabled as defined by the authorized body after being injured during the mass movement

(3) According to clause (b) of sub-rule (1), out of the thirty-three percent seats reserved for women, three percent seats will be reserved for women from Dalit community and two percent seats will be reserved for women from Muslim community. .

(4) According to clause (a) of sub-rule (2), out of the twenty percent seats reserved for the Madhesi community, three percent seats will be reserved for people from the Madhesi Dalit community.

(5) In this rule Regardless of what is written elsewhere, if a person from an underprivileged community who has passed the entrance exam from a community school is not available in the reserved place, a reserved place will be provided to a person from the same community who has passed the entrance exam from another school within Nepal.

(6) Sub-rule (3) According to sub-rule (4), if there are no persons from the respective communities available in the places reserved for women of the Dalit community and women of the Muslim community, such places will be given to other women and according to sub-rule (4), if there are no people from the respective communities in the places reserved for the Madhesi Dalit community, such places will be given to other people of the Madhesi community. p>

(7) In determining the percentage according to this rule, if there is a number after the decimal point, it will be done as follows:-

(a) Among the number after the decimal point, the person who gets the highest number of points Adding one place,

(b) adding one place to the community whose candidate is ahead in the general merit order if the number after the decimal point is equal.

For example: If the percentage is 5.5 percent for women and 5.2 percent for disabled, 6 seats for women and 5 seats for disabled will be maintained. If there is 5.5 percent for women and 5.5 percent for the disabled, one seat will be added for the community whose name is in the front in the order of general merit. The general group and reserved group for the educational institution or country where the scholarship has been received for the institution or countryPlaces should be distributed in such a way as to be known.

(9) The places reserved according to this rule and the places allocated for general groups can be adjusted every year.

(10) Allocated for a group If the application of that group does not come or if the candidate is not selected, the place allotted to that group will automatically be transferred to the general group.

(11) Actions taken in relation to scholarship reservation during the commencement of this rule shall be deemed to have been carried out in accordance with this rule.< /p>
